Overview
CSBA's federal legislative program plays a vital part in establishing the association as a proactive and significant force in setting California's agenda for public education. The Federal Issues Council, a standing committee, applies the association's policies and platform to specific federal proposals and legislation in order to provide direction to CSBA staff and the Federal Relations Network in our state. The council annually serves on behalf of CSBA as a delegation in Washington D.C. to communicate the association's priorities on education issues specifically impacting California public schools.
