Attention CSBA Board of Directors, Board Preseidents, Superintendents and Legislative Committee Members!

CSBA is pleased to announce the 21st Annual Legislative Awards Program. Each year, we honor two to four current members of the State Senate and Assembly who work actively to improve our public schools, who support local school board governance, and who exercise leadership in the legislative arena.

We encourage your board to participate in this program by nominating a Senator and/or Assembly Member for CSBA's 2007 Outstanding Legislator of the Year. Nominees must be from your district. There are three ways to submit a nomination for a candidate: by mail, fax or here online. Any nominations postmarked or received after September 7, 2007 cannot be considered. A board resolution limited to one page) or minutes showing the board action must accompany each nomination form.

The final selection of honorees will be made in September. The awards will be presented at the 2007 CSBA Annual Education Conference in December.
