West Sacramento, Calif. – The California School Boards Association is proud to announce an extension of our partnership and collaboration with The TDS Group, which has been in existence since 1995. Based on evaluation, TDS continues to provide the best available plan administration package, and recently enhanced its offering. The TDS Group, in collaboration with CSBA, now offers a more comprehensive Tax Deferred Retirement Savings program to provide cost-effective, tax deferred compensation management solutions for school districts and county offices of education.
The Tax Deferred Retirement Savings program provides resources for all retirement needs, including:
• Common remittance administration for salary deferrals and vendor management
• Total compensation reduction plan
• Complete 403(b) administration for employer sponsored plans
• 457 deferred compensation program with open architecture investment platform
• Turn-key plan administration for Roth 403(b) plans
• Compliance services
• Education
• 403(b)/457(b) Plan loan administration
• Administration of payroll reductions toward the establishment of 529 college plans
“We are always excited to offer our members new and improved resources through our District and Financial Services division,” said CSBA Executive Director Scott P. Plotkin. “This service relieves participating districts of the time-consuming process of deferred compensation plan administration and provides individual employees access to unbiased investment advice.”
The TDS Group is an experienced common remitter and plan administrator, serving more than 3,000 organizations since 1978. It is also the largest independent provider of 403(b) and 457(b) plan administration services in California.
In June, 2009, The TDS Group announced that Robert Lotter was named Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Lotter brings a wealth of industry and technology experience to the company.
“Now, more than ever, TDS Group has the ability to offer exceptional personalized services,” said TDS CEO Robert Lotter. “Not only have we expanded our services to provide more comprehensive compliance and common remitting support, but we are also offering free retirement planning tools and unbiased education for school employees.”
