Milestone: CSBA partners with 100 businesses in affiliate program 

It’s just good business. Since 1999, the California School Boards Association has offered corporate partners the opportunity to increase their visibility while supporting public education. From 12 partners the first year, CSBA’s California Schools Business Affiliate program now boasts 100 affiliates who are demonstrating their commitment to California schoolchildren by their participation.

Through their tax-deductible contributions, CSBA Business Affiliates help make CSBA events and programs more affordable while making their marketing dollars go further. Some of the services and benefits affiliates can receive at one of five levels of participation are:

  • Free or discounted exhibit space at CSBA’s Annual Education Conference and Trade Show
  • A free or discounted ad in the California Schools magazine or annual conference program
  • A hyperlink from the CSBA Web site to the affiliate’s Web site
  • Visibility to decision-makers who spend $60 billion a year to educate more than 6 million students
  • Recognition by more than 1,000 school districts and county offices of education
  • Special sign-up time for booth space at CSBA’s Annual Education Conference
  • Special recognition at the President’s reception honoring the California Schools Business Affiliates at CSBA’s Annual Education Conference
  • A free subscription to California Schools magazine and California School News
  • Special signage at CSBA’s annual conference
  • A list of annual conference registrants
  • Tax-deductible membership
