The California School Boards Association District Services Corporation has teamed with the Liberty Mutual to offer affordable home and auto insurance to school board members and district employees. CSBA’s new Group Savings Plus partnership with the nation’s eighth-largest home and auto insurer can save policy holders up to 20 percent on their car insurance as well as additional savings on homeowners’ and renters’ coverage.
Employees of all California school districts and county offices of education are eligible. CSBA employees are also eligible to apply for coverage.
“Savvy employers are enriching their benefits packages with an array of voluntary programs, most of which are attractive to pockets of their employee base,” says David Hayden, a Liberty Mutual national account executive in San Juan Capistrano. “CSBA is adding the one benefit that is relevant to virtually 100 percent of their members – if you drive a car or have a mortgage on your home, insurance is a must, not a want.”
In addition to discounts, Group Savings Plus offers:
- Convenient payment plans including payroll deduction, automatic checking account deduction or direct billing to your home
- 24-hour emergency roadside assistance
- 24-hour homeowner emergency repair service
- 24-hour toll-free claims service
- Individualized service from regional offices throughout California
