In collaboration with the state’s leading education organizations, CSBA is hosting the 2005 Collective Bargaining Summits in October. The summits focus on how to develop core district values for bargaining and strategies for K-12 management.
Breakout sessions involving school board members, superintendents, chief business officials and negotiators will discuss how to enhance student achievement, maintain the fiscal health of the district or county office, and protect management’s rights while providing fair and equitable salaries and benefits for employees.
The program runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will be offered in four locations:
- Monday, Oct. 10 in Sacramento
- Wednesday, Oct. 12 in Visalia
- Friday, Oct. 14 in Burbank
- Monday, Oct. 17 in Ontario
The summits are hosted by CSBA, the Association of California School Administrators, California Association of School Business Officials, California County Superintendents Educational Services Association, and the School Employers Association of California.
