Collective Bargaining Summits coming to 3 cities

California’s leading education management organizations will once again offer Collective Bargaining Summits around the state in October, providing context, analysis and practical advice on how to approach negotiations with professional and labor representatives.

Sessions are scheduled Oct. 1 in Sacramento, Oct. 3 in Fresno and Oct. 8 in Ontario. Presentations will focus on addressing and assessing the key fiscal, statutory, political and social conditions that affect collective bargaining; practical methods for designing policy and communications strategies; the use of data in negotiations; and successful methods for overcoming obstacles that might arise.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m., and the programs will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The summits are hosted by CSBA, the Association of California School Administrators, California Association of School Business Officials, California County Superintendents Educational Services Association and School Employers Association of California.
