Cities, Counties and Schools Partnership: A decade of collaboration for children

Officers, directors and friends of the Cities, Counties and Schools Partnership gathered May 16 at the Sheraton Grand in Sacramento to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the organization that coordinates efforts of the League of California Cities, the California State Association of Counties and the California School Boards Association.
The Partnership regularly convenes representatives of the leadership organizations representing California’s 478 cities, 58 counties and nearly 1,000 school districts and county offices of education to discuss and act upon issues of mutual concern for the benefit of California children, families and communities. The Partnership is a leader in promoting cross-jurisdictional approaches to social ills such as the childhood obesity crisis in California.
