Plotkin among experts at EdSource Forum in April
Published: March 1, 2007
CSBA Executive Director Scott P. Plotkin will be among the experts discussing the question of adequate and equitable funding for the state’s schools at the 30th annual EdSource Forum on California Education Policy in Pomona Thursday, April 19, and again in Palo Alto Friday, April 20.
Plotkin will lead a discussion entitled “What Do Californians Want? Results from a Collaborative Interview Project.” The project is the product of extensive research into business and community leaders’ views on what is right and wrong with California’s school funding system that CSBA has developed over the past year.
Following his talk, Plotkin will participate with other education leaders in a panel discussion, “Candid Conversations: The Politics and Possibilities for School Finance Reform in California,” in a question-and-answer format with the audience.
Registration for the EdSource Forum closes April 9.
