Oct. 1-2 Wellness Conference is attracting state, national partners

More than 20 statewide and national organizations have signed on so far to participate in the first-ever School Wellness Conference, coming to the Anaheim Marriott Oct. 1-2 to highlight critical components of student fitness—the school nutrition environment, physical education and active recreational opportunities.
Newer partners include the California Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, the California School Nurses Association and the California School Nutrition Association. Funding partners include Kaiser Permanente North, Kaiser Permanente South and The California Endowment.
The event will be hosted by CSBA in collaboration with the California Department of Education and the California Department of Health Services.
