The Legislature adjourned for the year on Sept. 12. In the month that followed, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger acted on 964 bills that the Legislature had sent to him. Of the 10 bills that CSBA is sponsoring or co-sponsoring this session, two made it to the governor’s desk but were vetoed; two more are legislative resolutions that do not require action by the governor, and six are two-year bills still awaiting legislative action.
