Summits on collective bargaining set

In collaboration with the state’s leading education organizations, CSBA is co-hosting the 2007 Collective Bargaining Summits in October at three locations.

Breakout sessions involving board members, superintendents and negotiators will address the future of K-12 bargaining, how to handle key issues in upcoming negotiations, how to develop and manage data, and what to do when things go wrong.
Registration begins at 8 a.m., and programs run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Sacramento on Oct. 1, in Fresno on Oct. 3 and in Ontario on Oct. 8.

Along with CSBA, the summits are being hosted by the Association of California School Administrators, California Association of School Business Officials, California County Superintendents Educational Services Association and the School Employers Association of California.

Registration for members of any of the sponsoring organizations listed above is $195 per person, with a discounted-rate of $175 for members of organizational teams of two or more. The seminar costs $225 for non members.
