California Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom: This coalition of ranchers, farmers and educators, has developed extensive resources to support school gardens and California agriculture in general, including lesson plans for every grade level.

California School Garden Network: This network of state agencies, private companies, educational institutions and nonprofit organizations is “dedicated to the mission of creating and sustaining gardens in every willing California school.”

California Department of Education: CDE offers many resources, including a “School Garden Resource Packet.” To get a free copy, send a mailing address to gardengrantqa@cde.ca.gov.
CDE also supports three School Garden Regional Training Centers, with teacher training, model gardens, garden start-up guides and other resources:
