How does the concept of constructive conflict fit with the work of boards. Is there a "best" way to disagree?
CSBA’s Policy Platform provides a broad policy framework for implementing the association’s mission to set the agenda for the public schools and students of California. It guides the association in its policy and political leadership activities, as well as in its partnerships, research efforts, and working with the media and the public.
Recognizing that students’ emotional and mental health has a profound effect on their academic progress, the Escondido Union School District looked for ways to bring mental health services to campus, where the students who needed them spent most of their days.
In close collaboration with staff at the Boys & Girls Club of the Sequoias, reformers devised a three-pronged strategy that focused on academic intervention and enrichment, life skills development and job and career preparedness.
