Kirk Berger has more than 35 years consulting and executive position experience working with schools and local governments in the areas of governance, human resource management, vision and goal setting, leadership, change and transition management, policy development, public communications, collective bargaining, and dispute resolution.

He emphasizes the use of collaboration, partnership building and interest-based problem solving skills in working with elected officials and executive leaders to enhance their governance practices and results.

Mr. Berger has been a trustee with the St. Helena Unified School District; the Dean of Human Resources at Napa Valley College; and a legislative advocate for the Oregon School Boards Association.

He has a bachelor’s degree in political science and master’s degrees in journalism and public administration, all from the University of Oregon.
