For the past three decades CSBA and School Services of California have partnered to provide the education community with the best thinking of the most experienced leaders in public education on important and timely topics. All the major pieces are now in place to discuss the political, economic and budget issues facing public education in California. We are pleased to offer a joint complimentary presentation just days after both the state budget and the November election results are known.

The broadcast will feature the following:

  • An analysis of the major political races, including the results and impacts
  • Facts, myths and risks associated with the newly adopted state budget
  • Recap of the major propositions

After the stage is set, the state’s leading education experts will provide analysis, commentary and best insights into the future. The education experts include:

  • Holly Jacobson, Assistant Executive Director, Policy Analysis & Leadership Development, California Schools Association

This presentation will be taped at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 8 and will be made available to available for viewing through both the CSBA and SSC websites for 30 days after the broadcast. There is no charge to participants. The program is offered compliments of CSBA and SSC.
