What is a Webinar?
A Webinar is an online seminar or presentation with interactive elements. This may include conference calling in conjunction with video, PowerPoint presentation, and/or screen sharing demonstrations. Participants call from their desk phone into a conference call, as well as log-in to a presentation via the Internet from their computers. The benefit of a Webinar is that registered users can participate from the comfort of their own office and/or home. These seminars can last anywhere from 10 to 90 minutes long, including live question and answer sessions. Participants are able to virtually “raise their hand” to ask questions via the computer, take polls and much more.
