CSBA and California Project LEAN (Leaders Encouraging Activity and Nutrition) are jointly hosting three regional Policy in Action trainings to be held in the Central Valley, Shasta and the Bay Area in February and March, 2010. These trainings are designed specifically for school board members, superintendents, assistant superintendents, wellness leads and district/COE physical education and physical activity leads, who are encouraged to attend as part of a district team.
Attendees will learn how to strengthen physical education and physical activity opportunities; develop comprehensive physical activity policies; and develop cost-effective strategies to improve the quantity and quality of student physical activity before, during and after school.
For just $25, the training also includes lunch, refreshments and materials. Space is limited, so register today! For more information and to register, download the informational flier here, or visit CSBA’s Web site here.
