‘Maximize’ Annual Conference experience—online
Published: October 9, 2008
Acting on recommendations from CSBA’s Annual Education Conference and Trade Show Planning Committee, the association’s Continuing Education and Information Technology and Resource Services departments have created an online resource guide to help participants get the most from the Annual Conference that is coming to San Diego Dec. 4-6.
“Maximizing Your Conference Learning Experience” is designed to help participants prepare for the more than 350 conference events and 300 trade show exhibits planned—and to help them use what they’ve learned once they return to their local school districts and county offices of education, according to Kristy Bird Trouchon, CSBA’s Annual Conference program manager.
“The guide features video interviews with school district and county board members and a superintendent who share useful insights on planning for the conference, choosing sessions and building upon what they’ve learned once the conference is over,” Trouchon explained. “We hope this will be a valuable planning tool.”
CSBA members can access the guide by registering for the Annual Conference at www.csba.org/events.
