CSBA’s Business Affiliate program completes 12th year

CSBA’s California Schools Business Affiliate program, which offers school-related businesses the chance to publicize their goods and services while supporting public education, begins its 13th year this month. The program had 95 affiliates last year.
Through their tax-deductible contributions, Business Affiliates enable CSBA to expand its services on behalf of California’s public schoolchildren, reaching more than 7,000 school board members, administrators, business officials and facilities managers. The program is sponsored by the California School Boards Foundation, which directs affiliate revenue to support trainings and programs for CSBA members.
Depending on the level of participation, Business Affiliates receive free or discounted exhibit space at CSBA’s Annual Education Conference and Trade Show, similar discounts on advertising space in California Schools magazine and the association’s Annual Education Conference and Trade Show program, an Internet hyperlink from the CSBA website to the affiliates’ own websites, and many other benefits that increase the visibility of goods and services affiliates offer.
