Forecast Webcast is Jan. 17

Preparations are under way for CSBA’s annual Forecast Webcast, coming Thursday, Jan. 17, from 10 a.m. to noon.
CSBA Executive Director Vernon M. Billy will moderate a panel discussion of education and economic issues following the presidential election and Californians’ vote on Propositions 30 and 38 and Gov. Jerry Brown’s 2013-14 budget proposal. Assistant Executive Director for Governmental Relations Dennis Meyers and his team will look ahead to the new legislative session, and economist Christopher Thornberg, a panelist on several previous CSBA Forecasts, will return to the program.
