Jerry Bowman
Director Region 18, Menifee Union ESD
In July 2014, Jerry Bowman, a board member in the Menifee Union School District in Riverside County, became the Region 18 Director of the California School Boards Association, representing Riverside and Imperial counties.
Elected to CSBA's Delegate Assembly in 2010, he has served on both the Linked Learning Task Force and the Policy Platform Committee. Bowman is a Trustee to the Menifee Union School District since 2008 representing Area 5. He has held the position of President, Vice President and currently is the Board Clerk. In addition, he has been a member of the Regional Family, Youth and Health Task Force and as served as Vice President of the Riverside County School Boards Association.
He is a retired educational consultant (Bowman Consulting, Inc) which focuses on improving student achievement through targeted curriculum, intervention, and collaboration. In education for the past 40 years, he has served as an aide, secondary teacher, coach, coordinator, consultant and trustee. He is also a proud U.S. Army Veteran (82nd Airborne) and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal.
