Complimentary passes to new CSBA Leadership Institute awarded at 2015 AEC

The excitement at CSBA’s 2015 Annual Education Conference and Trade Show in San Diego continued until the very end. All CSBA members (school board members and superintendents) who were in the audience at the close of the third General Session at AEC received a surprise award: a complimentary VIP pass to a new CSBA institute on leadership, student learning and innovation. The two-day Leadership Institute: Leading and Taking Action for Student Success will be held July 15-16, 2016, at the Hyatt Regency in Sacramento.
The surprise award of VIP passes is just one example of the additional fun that CSBA will be infusing into future AEC programs. “Starting this year, we will have something new and exciting, or just simply a fun surprise for all of you,” said CSBA CEO & Executive Director Vernon M. Billy in his remarks at the first General Session. “Where and when this will happen during conference is anybody’s guess, but the key thing is we’re doing it for you – our members, our supporters,” Billy added.
