Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) Training | West Sacramento
The State Board of Education will adopt a revised LCAP template and instructions at its January 2020 meeting. The new template reflects over six months of work with California's stakeholders to revise the LCAP based on the requirements of AB 1840. This training will aim to help local school board members understand the new template and accompanying instructions so they are better prepared for their work over the course of the spring and in subsequent years reviewing and approving LCAPs at the local level.
This COMPLIMENTARY training is open to all CSBA Members. Space is limited. Must pre-register to attend. Registrations will be accepted thru Thursday, February 20, 2020.
Presenters: Jeff Breshears, Education Administrator, Local Agency System Support Office, California Department of Education, and Sara Pietrowski, Policy Consultant, California State Board of Education
