School Finance

Prerequisite: MIG Course 1


In School Finance, learn how to achieve a balance between district goals and student achievement by establishing budget priorities; developing appropriate processes for budget development, adoption and revision; implementing the budget; and monitoring and auditing the district’s finances.


Pre-course Assignments

Each module will have pre-course assignments which need to be completed prior to attending. One week before the course, participants will receive the Know Before You Go eblast with materials download.

Attendance minimums requirements are set with the intention of being fiscally responsible in the use of public funds for training.  The minimum attendance for an in-person MIG training event is 25 participants.  Please review CSBA's cancellation and transfer policies.
