Who can attend?

Members of the governance team from your district and/or county office.

What do I need to do to participate?

To participate, you must register online by Tuesday, April 29. CSBA will take care of the rest. CSBA will book the appointments and provide all the resources for your meetings.

What is my time commitment?

You may attend as few or as many meetings as you choose. Most meetings will take about 30 minutes plus travel time. Your minimum time commitment for one meeting would be 45 minutes to one hour, based on your travel time to and from the representative’s district office.

How do I prepare?

Register to participate in the one-hour pre-event webinar on Thursday, May 1 at 10 a.m. Pre-registration is required. The registration deadline is April 29, 2014. The webinar will provide registered participants with a forecast of what CSBA believes will be in the Governor’s May Budget Revision, updates on important legislation, and the key issues to advocate for with legislative representatives.

Will CSBA provide handouts and talking points?

The materials to support your meetings will be available on May 1 through the My CSBA members-only portal.

How will CSBA keep in touch with me about my meeting commitments?

You will receive one or more emails about your scheduled meeting commitments. Please keep abreast of your emails to be aware of any changes to your meeting schedule.

What should I do if my schedule changes after registering?

Contact CSBA Governmental Affairs right away at GR Staff or (800) 266-3382. Meetings can only accommodate a limited number of governance team members.

How late can I register if I am unsure of my schedule?

Registration closes on Tuesday, April 29 at 5 p.m. for both the event and the pre-event webinar.
