Calaveras Board Member Sherri Reusche Elected Vice President of CSBA

SACRAMENTO, Calif., (January 30, 2015) – Sherri Reusche, a board member in the Calaveras Unified School District, has been elected vice president of the California School Boards Association (CSBA) by the organization’s Delegate Assembly in San Francisco.

Reusche served as the Region 8 Director for CSBA, representing Amador, Calaveras, Merced, San Joaquin, Stanislaus and Tuolumne counties. She joined the CSBA board in December 2010.

“I am honored to be elected and I am committed to support our schools and students,” said Reusche. “My call to serve as part of the CSBA leadership team helps fulfill a lifelong desire to build a public education system that is one of the strongest in the nation.”

Reusche was elected to the Calaveras Unified School District Board of Trustees in 2005 and has served as a member of CSBA’s Delegate Assembly since 2006.

A Rotarian and current past president of the West Calaveras Rotary, Reusche is very involved in the community and with local youth as well as with her children’s school and extracurricular activities. She has a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies and a master's degree in education. Professionally, she is the San Joaquin Delta College Liaison for Calaveras County and for the past 20 years owned In-Home Technology as a computer educator.

Reusche and her family reside in Valley Springs.
