This interactive workshop will help County Board Members and Superintendents build strong, effective governance teams.

Course 1, Module 2: Setting Direction
Strategic planning that drives student success.
This session will help County Board Members understand their critical role in setting direction through the LCAP process for county-operated schools.
- Explore how strategic planning goes beyond mission and vision
- Clarify the board’s role in alignment between LCAP, goals, and superintendent collaboration
- Strengthen stakeholder engagement strategies with county partners and communities
Participants will leave with practical tools to guide direction, build alignment, and engage stakeholders in support of student achievement.

Cancellations or transfers made within five (5) business days of the event are not eligible for a refund, as food, beverage, and/or materials have already been ordered for you. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. CSBA encourages substitutions from within the same district or county office.
