CSBA County Board Governance Workshop
Join us in San Diego for the 2026 County Board Governance Workshop — March 11–12
This annual gathering brings together county board members and superintendents to learn, connect, and tackle the most pressing issues facing County Offices of Education. This year’s focus: supporting homeless and foster youth — a core responsibility of county boards.

Housing
You can now book your hotel accommodation at the Sheraton San Diego Resort online through our dedicated website. We encourage you to make your reservation as soon as possible.
The CSBA-negotiated block of rooms has a reservation cutoff date of February 18, 2026, or until sold out. After this date, rooms may be available on a space-available basis, and the special group rate may not be guaranteed. Please note that the hotel requires a valid credit card to which an advance deposit of one night’s room and tax will be charged to guarantee the reservation.

Registrants are responsible for securing and, if necessary, cancelling their own housing reservations. Cancellation is 48 hours prior to arrival day to avoid any penalty (1 night fee).
Notices
If you need to cancel your registration or have questions, please email all cancellation requests to register@csba.org.
For cancellations received by Wednesday, January 14, 2026:
- A full refund will be issued.
For cancellations received prior to 11:59 p.m. (PST) on Wednesday, February 18, 2026:
- A 25% processing fee will be applied, and the balance of your registration fee will be refunded.
- Substitutions may be made with another individual within the registrant’s LEA.
For cancellations received after Wednesday, February 18, 2026:
- No refunds will be issued.
- Substitutions may be made with another individual within the registrant’s LEA by Friday, March 6, 2026. You must visit the onsite registration desk to make changes to your registration.
Accessibility
CSBA is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive experience for all attendees. The following services are available to ensure full participation in the event:
- Wheelchair Accessibility: The venue is fully accessible, including wheelchair access to seating areas, restrooms, and entrances. If additional assistance is needed, please inform us prior to the event.
- Mobility Rentals: Attendees who require a wheelchair or scooter are welcome to rent one from a local provider. Please note that CSBA does not provide, store, or coordinate these rentals. Attendees are responsible for arranging mobility device rentals, including wheelchairs and scooters. CSBA is not liable for storage or security of these devices.
- Reserved Seating: Accessible seating for individuals with mobility impairments can be provided. Requests for reserved seating should be made ahead of time to ensure availability.

While we will make every effort to accommodate your needs, please note that late requests may not be able to be fully accommodated.
