Sherry Crawford
Director, Region 2, Siskiyou COE
Sherry Crawford, a board member in the Siskiyou County Office of Education, is the Region 2 Director of the California School Boards Association representing Siskiyou, Modoc, Trinity, Shasta, Plumas and Lassen counties.
Crawford has been a board member since 1986, and has served as both president and vice president. She has been very active in CSBA and the California County Boards of Education (CCBE) for more than 20 years.
As the longest serving member of the Siskiyou County Office of Education board, Crawford has been highly involved in several committee and initiatives including the school district unification process, the Parent Advisory Committee, the Early Childhood Education Committee and the School Improvement Program.
Crawford and her husband owned and operated a logging business since 1979. She was very involved in local schools while raising her four children, and she continues to advocate for educational opportunities for her 21 grandchildren.
