Wilson So
Director, Region 16, Apple Valley USD
Wilson F. So, a board member in the Apple Valley Unified School District in San Bernardino County since 1993 is the Region 16 Director of the California School Boards Association. Wilson has been a CSBA Delegate Assembly member since 2001. He has served on various CSBA committees and task forces.
Wilson has served five terms as the President of Apple Valley Unified School District. He actively supports the STEAM Program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) and reading/scholarship programs through Rotary Club.
Wilson has also served on the Executive Board of the San Bernardino County School Boards Association since 1997 which included three years as the Association's Treasurer, two years as the Legislative Chair and two terms as the Association's President.
Wilson is a founding member of the St. Mary Hospital Foundation serving the Foundation for 21 years. He is also an advisory member of the Victor Valley College Foundation and has been a member of the Apple Valley Rotary Club for 24 years.
A retired Engineer who still belongs to several associations in California, Nevada and Oregon, Wilson looks forward to a new chapter as the CSBA Director of Region 16.
