
Lare Bloodworth
Chief, Financial Officer
Lare Bloodworth serves as the Chief Financial Officer for CSBA, providing executive leadership and oversight of the association’s financial strategy and operations. Bloodworth is responsible for planning, organizing and directing all aspects of CSBA’s financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal controls, facilities and long-term financial sustainability. In this role, she works closely with executive leadership and departments across the organization to support CSBA’s mission and ensure sound stewardship of resources.
With more than 25 years of progressive financial leadership experience, Bloodworth brings extensive expertise in nonprofit and membership-driven organizations, financial operations and organizational transformation. Throughout her career, she has led diverse accounting and finance teams, strengthened internal controls, improved cash flow and operational efficiency, and partnered with executive leadership to support strategic planning and decision-making. Her experience includes evaluating revenue streams, supporting new business and funding opportunities, managing restricted funds and ensuring compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulations.
Prior to joining CSBA, Bloodworth held senior finance leadership roles across a range of organizations, where she played a key role in building and modernizing finance functions, implementing enterprise financial systems such as NetSuite and SAP, and developing policies, procedures and reporting that increased transparency and accountability. She is recognized for fostering high-performing teams and a culture of continuous improvement while aligning financial operations with organizational goals.
Bloodworth holds a Master of Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento, and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from California State University, Stanislaus. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
