CSBA’s Education Legal Alliance, Member Services release new e-publications

CSBA has released three new e-publications: The Education Legal Alliance’s twice-yearly summary of Alliance activity and updated editions of the association’s student wellness policy resource guide and its guide for evaluating and improving student wellness policies.
The “Alliance Report” includes updates on new and pending cases taken on by CSBA’s legal arm, details on its “friend of the court” legal briefs and summaries of the most recent rulings and settlements of Alliance cases.
“Student Wellness: A Healthy Food and Physical Activity Policy Resource Guide” contains the latest information about successful policies and practices that governing boards and school district staff can employ to establish healthier school environments.
“Monitoring for Success: A Guide for Assessing and Strengthening Student Wellness Policies” has been updated to reflect new accountability and reporting requirements—and policy implications—of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010.
