Overview

CSBA’s 2013 Forecast Webcast features Christopher Thornberg, one of California’s leading economic forecasters, along with an expert panel moderated by CSBA Executive Director Vernon M. Billy. The webcast includes discussion on education and economic issues following the presidential election and Californians’ vote on Propositions 30 and 38 and the budget proposal Gov. Jerry Brown unveiled in January. Assistant Executive Director for Governmental Relations Dennis Meyers and his team look ahead to the new legislative session, when CSBA will help refine Gov. Jerry Brown’s proposed weighted student funding formula.
