CSBA Research and Education Policy Development (REPD) provides research and analysis on preK-12 topics that impact and influence the role of board members. The goal of the department is to provide cutting-edge research that helps support members to make informed governance decisions, set policy and advocate at the local, state and national levels. Additionally, REPD collaborates with external researchers and education agencies to provide board members with a spectrum of support.

The Education Policy Fellowship
CSBA is pleased to offer the Education Policy Fellowship, a limited-term research and policy field experience for PhD and EdD students at the California School Boards Association (CSBA). The fellowship program offers a stipend and connects doctoral students with a CSBA staff mentor to develop publish on an issue of interest and value to CSBA's members.
